#3: In honor of OFMD finally airing in the UK (BBC Two on January 4!), he hosted a small Q&A on his Instagram on 12/26.

#4: Samba and Rhys (and family, and Buttons) met up at the beaches of Tāwharanui on 12/27. Silliness ensued.

#5: Apparently there is now Calico Jack whipped rum. The fandom responded as predicted.

#6: David Fane celebrated his 56th birthday on 12/28!

#7: Taika and Rita were seen arriving in the Caribbean on 12/29, and later that day attending the UNICEF Winter Gala on the island of Saint Barthélemy. The Gala reportedly raised “$3.5m to provide health care and immunization, safe water and sanitation, nutritional support, education, emergency relief and opportunities for children everywhere to thrive.”

#8: Nathan Foad turned the big 3-0 on 12/30!

Nathan shares a story to his Insta. He is eating dinner. Text says: "Thank u for bday love! Being 30 is my new favorite hobby :)"

#9: Samba and Buttons (and presumably Rhys, somewhere) got together for New Year’s Eve and did some cooking and baking.

#10: David Fane has been made an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit in their New Year Honours List for his contributions to the arts!
